ABA Liga is an international basketball league for the Balkans’ region, with teams that compete in the leagues in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. ABA Liga is among the most popular basketball leagues in Europe. The tournament starts every year in October and ends in May next year. AdmiralBet ABA League tournament structure

Overall 14 teams compete in ABA Liga every year. Each team plays two times with every team during the regular season. The best four teams move to the playoffs, and the last team on the table is relegated to ABA Liga 2, the lower division of the competition. The teams in the playoffs play the semifinals. The teams that win two games move to the finals. The champion of the tournament is the team that wins the three games in the finals.
